The program is focused on providing modern knowledge from electrical energy systems engineering and related fields, necessary for specialists developing modern electric power systems, to develop the ability to apply the knowledge professionally. Students will gain special knowledge in electrical energy system engineering, necessary for the application of modern technologies and independent development of new products and services, and to perform applied research in the electric power system engineering area. To develop the ability to creatively apply theoretical knowledge and scientific investigation results, and to improve professional competence during whole-life learning.

What Will Students Learn?
- Very specialized knowledge in the field of electrical energy systems engineering related to research and development of new products and services, necessary in the development, service, and improvement of photovoltaic and wind energy systems.
- An ability to independently develop, maintain, and improve modern electric energy systems, photovoltaic, and wind energy systems.
- Skills to select and use mathematical methods, software, and hardware to solve problems in the electrical energy systems engineering area, and analyze and interpret results.
Electrical energy systems engineering master students are able to work in companies maintaining electric power systems, self-manage groups of people preparing electrical engineering projects or continue their doctoral studies in electronics, telecommunications and computer science field.
2 years (4 semesters) of graduation is finalized with the defense of the Final project.
