Although the United States leads the world in artificial intelligence area, Europe's strategy is aimed at a breakthrough in artificial intelligence. Therefore, it is planned that in Europe as well as Lithuania the need for artificial intelligence experts will only grow over time. The master's study program in Engineering of Artificial Intelligence focuses on preparing the next generation of AI specialists. The studies will not only delve into the core principles of the methods and technologies used in artificial intelligence. They will also focus on understanding and applying the latest technologies in different fields. The applied dimension will be ensured by mastering existing and emerging AI technologies for processing and generating different types of data (numeric, text, images, audio), by delving into the nuances of the infrastructure used for the relevant AI solutions (distributed systems, big data, the Internet of Things), taking into account the ethical, legal and end-user acceptance requirements of AI solutions.

What is this study programme's aim?

The aim of this master's degree program is to prepare highly qualified informatics specialists with analytical thinking and the ability to compete in a rapidly changing environment, who have a deep understanding of the field of artificial intelligence, know the technologies for creating artificial intelligence solutions, and are able to apply them to the development and application of artificial intelligence and/or automation solutions in different fields, evaluating their quality and improvement possibilities, based on detailed research results.
