Introduction
Brief Introduction
The bachelor programme in Climate & Supply Engineering is a 3½-year full-time programme taught in English. If you would like to help solve problems relating to climate change, flooding caused by cloudbursts, clean drinking water supply, protection of groundwater and the development of the energy supply of the future, then the Supply Engineering degree programme is the right choice for you.
As a graduate supply engineer, you can work in utility companies, consulting engineering firms, firms of contractors or in the public sector.
You will have plenty of opportunities to work abroad, where the lack of clean water and wastewater processing is a growing global challenge that requires skilled engineers.
The programme takes place at Campus Horsens.

Content and Structure
The programme is organised in seven semesters, and in all semesters you will work on a cross-disciplinary project that combines the different subjects taught during the semester in a final project. You will experience that your project work skills improve from one semester to the next.
In the 5th semester of this programme, you will have the opportunity of gaining practical experience during a work placement period. In the 6th semester, you will choose a specialization will the 7th and last semester has been set aside for your final bachelor project on a topic of your choice.
Specialisations
Specialisation takes place during the sixth and seventh semesters of the degree programme.
You can choose to specialise in one of the following three areas:
- Water Supply - You work with groundwater, water treatment, drinking water distribution and consumption.
- Waste Water - You work with wastewater from consumers, wastewater transportation, treatment plants, sludge and recipients.
- District Heating - You work with energy production, processes and technologies and the distribution of heating to the consumers.
Once you have decided on your line of specialisation, you can choose between a number of electives relating to your specialisation, which you study in addition to the compulsory subjects.
You can also choose a combination of the three lines of specialisations. In that case, no line of specialisation will be shown on your diploma, but you will have the opportunity to choose the subjects that interest you most.
