UTSA’s Women’s Studies degree provides the opportunity to examine the social, historical, political and cultural experiences of women from an interdisciplinary perspective. There’s an emphasis on cross-disciplinary research to encourage an informed understanding of women and issues of gender and sexuality across local and global cultures. The curriculum contains feminist theories, gender and cities, themes of social history in the U.S., the biology of human reproduction, gender and crime, society and social issues, women in politics and much more.
