This course is a NSW primary school teaching preparation course and adheres to the subject content knowledge prerequisites as stipulated by the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA). It is suitable for students about to graduate with a bachelor's degree and for graduates who are changing careers and want a teaching qualification. It includes an intensive professional experience program where students spend 60 days in practical experience teaching, and offers extensive, structured and closely supported experiences of primary school teaching in different settings. *This course is pending accreditation by the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) as a recognised primary school teaching qualification.

Graduates can teach from kindergarten to year 6, in public or private schools, in metropolitan or rural, local or international settings (pending relevant employer requirements and regional licensing checks).
