Introduction

The Graduate Certificate of Screen Arts and Production: Documentary is taught by industry practitioners who have mentored award-wining graduates. The course has been designed to meet the demands of students already working in the industry who want to skill up in a different area or role than the one they are currently working in, or those who have just completed a generalist screen production degree, looking to position themselves competitively in the jobs market and want to specialise in documentary production.

The Graduate Certificate of Screen Arts and Production: Documentary aims to introduce students to a set of deeply creative, innovative, audience-focused, adaptable, entrepreneurial and production-ready skills. The subjects allow students to develop key creative practice skills and knowledge in documentary screen storytelling.

The Graduate Certificate of Screen Arts and Production prepares students for advanced study and orientates them to industry roles such director, producer, multi-platform storytellers, production and post-production specialists in documentary-based screen and immersive media.
