Curriculum
Get ready for 2025
The current study track consists of three phases but will soon transition into a full 2-year program of 120 ECTS. During the first year (phases 1 and 2), you will first be introduced to the main topics of sustainability, social innovation, and transdisciplinary research. Phase 2 goes more in-depth, where you take modules from one of the three thematic tracks ‘Water’, ‘Life and Health’, and ‘Food’. The thematic track ‘Energy and Sustainable Cities’ will be added in 2025.
During the second year of the program, you will put your newly acquired knowledge into action. A newly planned internship phase, currently under accreditation, allows you to expand your knowledge and expertise while working with a company, government agency, NGO, or research organization. During the last phase, you will analyze and address an authentic sustainability capstone challenge together with fellow students, scientists, and external business and society partners.
