About: The Master of Science in Biology at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Université Saint-Esprit de Kaslik (USEK), follows the Faculty's 2019 merger of letters, philosophy, humanities, sciences and music. The programme prepares broadly trained scientists by developing independent research skills, strengthening scientific communication, and improving employment prospects in fertility and other biological fields or admission to doctoral and professional programmes.
Career Outcomes: Graduates can work as research scientists, laboratory technicians, fertility specialists, biotech or pharmaceutical associates, environmental consultants, or industry roles; many progress to PhD programmes. They gain experimental design, data analysis, lab techniques and scientific writing skills.
The Faculty of Arts and Sciences at USEK, founded in 2019, is the result of the merge of the Faculty of Letters, Philosophy and Humanities, Sciences and Music and is an academic reengineering process decided in 2017. The Faculty embraces a variety of programs supporting research, teaching, and students’ learning experience in Humanities, Social Sciences, Arts, and Natural Sciences, including Mathematics, Computing, and Nutrition.
Mission
The mission of the MS in Biology is to prepare broadly trained, professional scientists by developing the students’ independent research skills, strengthening their scientific communication abilities, and enhancing their likelihood of gaining employment in fertility and other biological fields or successful admission into doctoral and professional programs.
