Jan 26, 2023 – Online undergraduate programs have once again been ranked by U.S. to be among the top online bachelor degree programs nationwide.

Jan 14, 2020 – The online undergraduate programs at Upper Iowa University are once again ranked among the top online bachelor degree programs nationwide by U.S. News & World Report. To determine the 2020 rankings, U.S. News evaluated several factors to rank the best online bachelor’s degree programs, including graduation rates, faculty credentials and support services available remotely.

Jan 15, 2019 – The online undergraduate programs at Upper Iowa University are once again ranked among the top online bachelor degree programs nationwide by U.S. News & World Report. To determine the 2019 rankings, schools were evaluated on their scores for student engagement, student services and technology, faculty credentials and training, and expert opinions of high-ranking peer academic officials.

Jan 9, 2018 – The online undergraduate programs at Upper Iowa University are ranked highest in Iowa by U.S. News & World Report. UIU’s online bachelor’s program was ranked in the top 30 percent of online bachelor degree programs nationwide.

Jan 9, 2018 – The online undergraduate program at Upper Iowa University is once again ranked among the best online programs for veterans by U.S. News & World Report. To ensure academic quality, all schools included in these rankings first have to be ranked among the top half of schools in U.S. News & World Report’s 2018 Best Online Programs rankings.

July 3, 2024 – Upper Iowa University announced that it has been named a 2024-2025 Military Friendly® Top 10 Gold School. This is the third year in a row UIU has earned this designation.

March 17, 2023 – Upper Iowa University announced that it has been named a 2023-2024 Military Friendly® Top 10 Gold School. This is the second year in a row UIU has earned this designation.

Jan 26, 2023 – UIU has once again been ranked by U.S. News and World Report to be ranked among the best online programs for veterans.

April 8, 2022 – Upper Iowa University announces it has been named a Military Friendly® Top 10 Gold School Award recipient in the private university, not offering a doctorate, category for 2022-23.

Oct 22, 2018 – Upper Iowa University has once again been named a “Best for Vets” college by Military Times. The Military Times Best for Vets: Colleges 2019 rankings are based on the results of the Military Times’ annual survey as well as a detailed review of public data collected by federal agencies.
