About: The Intensive English (IE) program is designed to improve your English language skills quickly. Students whose first language is not English are required to study Intensive English as part of their program. Students applying for entry to USC are required to provide evidence of their English language levels. All students must either undertake a USC English Proficiency Test or provide USC with an IELTS score before beginning their language course.

IELTS requirements are as follows:

For a full year 11 course - 5.0

For 1 semester of year 11 - 5.5

Once the Intensive English course has commenced, students must study according to their Letter of Offer.
