About: You'll study construction management and information systems at The University of Žilina, learning software, GIS and BIM to manage teams on civil and transport structures, manage building component production, run construction firms. You'll use model-based design to design, optimize and implement buildings, control quality, apply economic solutions, and continue to doctoral study. As a graduate, you will be able to use computer technology with the support of software applications, apply information systems in construction including GIS and BIM systems and their applications, manage a team of workers in the construction of complex civil structures and buildings, transport structures, prepare and manage the production of building components, manage the construction company. You will acquire knowledge of the newest technology in construction, reconstruction, renewal, repairs, and maintenance, especially of civil engineering structures. You can apply the acquired knowledge to construction production, make decisions with the support of management tools, be able to design, optimize and implement buildings according to a model approach, control the quality of buildings and accept economic solutions. You can continue in the study of doctoral study program Construction Management.
