Bachelor of Computer Science (Cyber Security) - Cyber Academy

Cyber security has been identified as one of the strategic priorities in Australia to meet the demands of law enforcement, national and state governments, defence, security, and finance industries. Jobs of the future will be in all these areas, ensuring there is a national capability to maintain and build our essential services and stop them from being disrupted, destroyed, or threatened, and that our personal information is not shared or utilised without our permission.

The Bachelor of Computer Science (Cyber Security) - Cyber Academy offers you the unique opportunity to join the Cyber Academy, a collaboration between the University of Wollongong, TAFE NSW and Deloitte to develop the sharpest, job-ready graduates in Cyber Security with an earn-as-you-learn diploma and degree program.

You will study technical and political concepts in cyber security, such as blockchain, cryptocurrency, multimedia security, Internet of Things (IoT) security, obfuscation, and reverse engineering. You will learn penetration testing skills for defensive purposes and be prepared for ethical hacking certification.

Cyber Academy students concurrently enrol in both the ICT50220 Diploma of Information Technology (Cyber Security at TAFE NSW and the Bachelor of Computer Science (Cyber Security) at the University of Wollongong (UOW). As part of the Cyber Academy, students will be placed with an employer and paid a salary throughout your degree, helping you fast-track your cyber security career. You will have access to ongoing mentoring and coaching, as well as access to Deloitte’s graduate programs and bootcamps.
