The bachelor's study program Animal Welfare and Protection is an academically focused study program, corresponding to the current state and level of science and the needs of practice in Europe. The study contains theoretical knowledge and enables the acquisition of the necessary practical skills needed for the performance of the profession, including employment in creative activities, and also prepares students for study in a master's degree program.
Graduation requirements:
Minimum 180 ECTS, state final exam, defense of the bachelor´s thesis.
Access to further studies:
Successful graduates may proceed to the master's study program.

The graduate of the bachelor's study program Animal Protection and Welfare is able to solve professional problems of animal protection at the level of his knowledge and skills, within the bodies supervising the protection of animals against cruelty, the graduate can conduct work in laboratories analyzing biological samples, in zoos, in business in the field of animal husbandry, transport of animals, purchase, and sale of animals, import and export of animals, organizations dealing with animootherapy, in research and/or in the offices of veterinarians as assistants.
