Study to become an international Finnish language expert!

The aim of the Master's programme in Finnish and its related languages is to deepen the student's theoretical and practical knowledge of the Finnish language and to familiarise him/her with aspects of Finnish culture. The studies are linked to a broader linguistic and Fenno-Ugric framework, so that the student can work in tasks requiring expertise in the Finnish language and Finnish culture in Finland or abroad.

The target group of the Master's programme is non-native speakers of Finnish and other Finno-Ugric languages who have completed their bachelor's degree abroad or in Finland. The main language of instruction in the programme is Finnish.
