Introduction

The Master's Degree Course in Mechanical Engineering provides its graduates with adequate preparation on scientific and technical topics, together with general methodologies, which integrate skills and knowledge already acquired with the achievement of the first level degree in Industrial Engineering. Furthermore, the course of study provides specific professional skills in the sectors of mechanical engineering and energy. In particular, the training course is developed on two curricula, the first relating to mechanical design and prototyping and the second focused on energetics. The first curriculum therefore aims to provide advanced preparation in the sectors of mechanical design, robotics, virtual prototyping and additive manufacturing, while the energy curriculum provides advanced skills in the field of energy systems, energy production from renewable and traditional sources and in systems for environmental well-being.

Graduates in Mechanical Engineering, given their preparation characterized by modern methodological and interdisciplinary skills, can find employment in numerous industrial and advanced tertiary sectors, such as, for example, the manufacturing sector, energy supply chain, plant engineering for the industrial and civil sector , industrial design and consultancy.
