Introduction

The degree course in Chemistry, the only one in the L-27 class in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region, aims to train graduates with adequate knowledge of the different sectors of chemistry, in basic, theoretical and experimental aspects. The training path of the course, divided into a single curriculum, includes activities aimed at acquiring the basic elements of mathematics and physics, the fundamental principles of analytical chemistry, organic chemistry, physical chemistry, general and inorganic chemistry, industrial chemistry and macromolecular chemistry, and basic knowledge of biochemistry. To be admitted to the degree course, you must have a high school state exam diploma or other qualification obtained abroad and recognized as suitable. The course is free to access. Chemistry graduates will be able to carry out professional activities in the industrial sector, in research, control and analysis laboratories in the public and private sectors, in the environmental and energy sectors and in the conservation of cultural heritage.
