Introduction
The Law Faculty of Trento offers a Bachelor's Degree in Comparative, European, and International Legal Studies (CEILS), taught entirely in English.
The CEILS provides its students with an authentic international experience and an all-encompassing education in comparative, European, international, and transnational law. Together with other national legal systems, elements of Italian law are taught within the European, comparative, and international framework. Last but not least, CEILS students have the opportunity to apply for internship programs in international institutions. The diversity of the students’ community enhances their learning commitment and intensifies their contact with other cultures. The CEILS curriculum is taught by Italian and foreign professors, who have wide-ranging research and teaching experience in Trento and abroad.
CEILS aims to provide high-quality teaching in small classes under the supervision of international and Italian academics. Students will be exposed to a variety of methodologies, disciplinary traditions, and jurisdictions. Courses cover a broad range of fields and enhance the comparative, international, and transnational dimensions of law.
CEILS offers its students the opportunity for an authentic international learning experience. The Faculty of Law of Trento is one of the leading Italian legal research institutions. It is a dynamic and inspiring place to study. It enjoys a diverse student body and plays an important role in the education of lawyers, legal experts, and academics.
Course Overview
The CEILS Degree is offered to 75 highly qualified applicants. A 10-student quota is reserved for non-EU citizens living abroad.
For non-EU candidates, scholarships may be awarded to particularly deserving candidates according to their admission scores.

Scholarships and Funding
Scholarships and tuition fees for non-EU citizens living abroad
Top-scored candidates will be entitled to receive a UniTrento scholarship assigned by the Evaluation Committee based on the application score. Tuition fees are waived for students who receive a UniTrento scholarship.
The amount of tuition fees for Non-EU applicants living abroad is related to the application score obtained during the selection. For more information check the UniTrento scholarships web page.
Scholarships and tuition fees for EU Citizens and Non-EU citizens regularly living in Italy
DSU (Diritto allo Studio Universitario) Scholarships are available for EU citizens and Non-EU citizens living in Italy who meet the ISEE requirements based on family income. Further information is available on Scholarships starting from June/July.
