Key Summary
About: The Intensive English Program (IEP) offers a structured curriculum designed to enhance English language skills through immersive learning.
Students engage with various facets of the language, focusing on reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
Tailored to meet individual needs, the program allows for adaptive learning experiences and fosters a supportive environment for skill development.
Career Outcomes: Graduates of the IEP can pursue diverse career opportunities in fields that require strong English proficiency.
These may include roles in international business, education, translation, and communications.
The program equips students with the necessary skills to engage effectively in English-speaking environments and enhances their employability globally.
The Intensive English Programme is designed to empower students to use English socially, for study, and for work. A skills-based syllabus is employed where listening, speaking, reading, and writing are equally weighed. There are twenty-one hours of classes spread over 10 (ten) weeks to ensure that learners benefit from the total hours allocated per term.
Application for Admissions
Students can either apply online or manually. All applications must be completed and submitted with a notarized copy of the passport biodata page, School/University transcripts, and Certificate of Completion.
Curriculum
IEP’s curriculum is theme-based and most of the readings, vocabulary and class discussions are centered on the topic of the week. However, to this there is an added focus on each of the macro-skills: Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking, as well as a clear progression in grammar through the Beginner/Elementary level to Intermediate/Upper-Intermediate to Advanced. Learning takes place both inside and outside the classroom. Classes are small and students are given individual attention by experienced tutors.
