Introduction

In August 2006 the Department of Psychology and Counseling split from the guidance section of the Department of Education to become a separate entity, and afterward, the Graduate Institute of Educational Psychology and Counseling was combined with the department to form the Master’s program, thus becoming one of the departments on campus not purely dedicated to teacher education.
