Delivered through lectures, case studies, active discussions, and practical exercises, with 9 months of taught modules (semesters 1 and 2) followed by 3 months of independent study (dissertation or industry placement).
This is a 12-month full-time program (September to September). You study for 9 months (semesters 1 and 2) combining core modules that everyone takes with optional modules you choose to specialise. Core modules include Foundation of Business Analytics and Management Science, and Optimisation and Decision Modelling. Optional specialisations include advanced analytics methods (machine learning, strategic analytics, behavioural operations) and management applications (logistics, project and risk management, revenue management). In semester 2 you prepare for your final assessment. You then choose either a 3-month independent dissertation (summer) or compete for a 3-month industry placement with an external organisation.
