Introduction

Medicine and Surgery

The single-cycle degree course in Medicine and Surgery is based on an educational project that aims to train a surgeon with the operational and relational skills to enable him or her to enter the world of healthcare today effectively.

The course provides a total of 360 university training credits (CFU), spread over 6 years, dedicated to the teaching of basic and pre-clinical disciplines, on which the teaching of clinical disciplines is embedded. At least 60 CFUs must be acquired in training activities aimed at the maturation of specific professional skills. Attendance at all training activities is compulsory.

Particular emphasis is placed on practical work experience under the supervision of specialized personnel. The vocational traineeship represents the most innovative element of the study program.
