Biomedical Laboratory Techniques

The degree course in Biomedical Laboratory Techniques trains the biomedical laboratory technician, a healthcare professional who carries out biomedical and biotechnological activities in public and private analysis and research laboratories, with full autonomy and responsibility for the acts for which he/she is responsible. These include in particular techniques of molecular biology, genetics, biochemistry, microbiology, virology, pharmacotoxicology, immunology, clinical pathology, haematology, cytology, histopathology and pathological anatomy. Graduates achieve professional competence through theoretical training and substantial internship activity.

The final examination qualifies graduates for professional practice. The course also provides the necessary tools for adapting one's skills to technological innovations through self-learning and professional development.
