The Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science is the result of collaboration between the Department of Political and International Sciences and the Department of Social, Political and Cognitive Sciences.

Educational Objectives

Providing a strongly multidisciplinary and cross-cutting education across the fields of historical-political, legal, and socio-economic studies, alongside the enhancement of language skills, the program trains experts with competencies particularly oriented toward the understanding, management, and development of social, political, and economic-administrative phenomena. More broadly, it addresses the intense and rapid transformations brought about—both locally and internationally—by globalization processes.

Students acquire mastery of empirical research methods in political science, sociology, economics, and statistics, as well as analytical skills, including comparative approaches, in the legal field. They also develop advanced language competencies in English, as well as in a second—and, optionally, a third—European Union language. This multidisciplinary cultural and professional knowledge equips graduates to evaluate and address the political-economic and socio-cultural challenges of modern societies, and to design and implement complex strategies and operational choices. These competencies are highly valued in the labor market, both in the public and private sectors, at the national, European, and international levels.
