The MST Program is designed to prepare students for entry and accelerated advancement in the tax profession and to provide additional formal education required by individuals in the field of taxation and in other fields seeking either a career change or advancement. Currently, the MST Program, a two-year program, allows admittance to 40 students annually and offers course-work in 3 major areas of concentration: Tax Law, Tax Accounting, Tax Policy Analysis. The School offers a high-quality Ph.D. A program that emphasizes the development of research and teaching skills in order for graduates to acquire the credentials necessary for placement in leading academic and/or research institutions. The School has an active research-oriented faculty and has established goals of achieving national prominence for its programs. A student in the Ph.D.The program is normally expected to study for three years, including one year of dissertation research (the required time period may be shortened for qualified students).
