The Master's Degree Course in Management Engineering has the specific objective of training a professional figure capable of facing, in manufacturing and service companies, modeling and systemic aspects connected with the optimization of innovation, development, and re-engineering of industrial processes .

The course of study is divided into a single path aimed at deepening the disciplines of a predominantly methodological nature in the sectors that characterize management engineering; in particular, a significant role is attributed to the disciplines of industrial plant engineering, production management, and innovation, marketing, management control, product development, integrated production systems, functional models, without neglecting technical issues specifications such as a further study on automation, industrial measurements, and modern processing technologies. The disciplines are chosen in such a way as to complete in the student the skills of analysis of complex problems and of synthesis in the specific areas of management engineering, innovation activities, development and reengineering of processes both from a systemic and design point of view, of systems and methodologies for identifying solutions in highly complex environments. The course is completed with some exams chosen by the student and with a final test and an internship, in which the student faces a project problem within the disciplines encountered in the course of study.

The master's degree course lasts two years and the student must acquire 120 ECTS. To enroll in the Master's Degree Course in Management Engineering it is necessary to have a first-level degree, or other qualification obtained abroad, recognized as suitable by the Didactic Council and curricular requirements, according to the rules specified in the Course's Didactic Regulations.
