Introduction

MScAgric (Animal Science) (Animal Nutrition)

The curriculum for the MScAgric degree consists of a dissertation of 180 credits.

An MScAgric degree in Animal Nutrition offers students the opportunity to conduct research in monogastric or ruminant nutrition in extensive and intensive livestock production systems. Research aspects in animal nutrition may include ruminal and gut manipulation with feed additives, alternative feeds, minerals and the use of plant extracts to modulate rumen fermentation, immune modulation, gut health and the rumen microbiome.
