PhD specialising in Learning Support, Guidance and Counselling

This programme is aimed at Foundation Phase (Gr 1-3) and Intermediate Phase (Gr 4-7) teachers. The program of Learning Support prepares the teacher for the diverse classroom and focuses on accommodating and supporting all learners, regardless of their intellectual abilities or other barriers. Curriculum modification, alternative assessment procedures, multi-level teaching, designing a multi-level lesson and assessment for school readiness, are all aspects that are covered in this programme.
