The Preparatory Year for Learning Romanian for Foreign Citizens is mandatory for those students who wish to pursue their studies (high school, university) in Romania, and do not have a Romanian language certificate.

During this one-year, full-time academic program, the international students acquire the necessary skills (reading, wring, listening, and speaking) in Romanian for academic purposes, and they also gain specific knowledge in the field of their future study program (technical, medical, economic, humanities and arts).
