About: The Preparatory Year for Learning Romanian for Foreign Citizens is a one-year, full-time programme for international students without a Romanian language certificate. You’ll learn reading, writing, listening and speaking Romanian for academic use and gain vocabulary for technical, medical, economic, humanities and arts. The course brings you to B2 on the Common European Framework. You’ll join lectures, extracurricular activities and excursions to support linguistic integration.

The Preparatory Year for Learning Romanian for Foreign Citizens is mandatory for those students who wish to pursue their studies (high school, university) in Romania, and do not have a Romanian language certificate.
During this one-year, full-time academic program, the international students acquire the necessary skills (reading, wring, listening, and speaking) in Romanian for academic purposes, and they also gain specific knowledge in the field of their future study program (technical, medical, economic, humanities and arts).
