Introduction

The master's program is addressed to graduates licensed in the field of Civil Engineering, but also to those licensed in other technical fields. The main mission of the master's program is to provide students with the cognitive and behavioral skills needed to become good specialists in the field of underground construction with different destinations (mining, hydrotechnics, tunnels, subways, underpasses), made in different geotechnical conditions. Graduation of the program ensures the formation of competencies in the field of design, advanced knowledge and the competence of analysis and synthesis specific to the management functions in the field. Also, master's studies offer graduates the possibility of a career in research, higher education and doctoral training. The program is addressed to graduates of the Mining Constructions specialization, as well as to engineers from other technical fields from different sectors of the national economy, ensuring the acquisition of knowledge from a dynamic field, with well individualized particularities. Curriculum subjects: Elasticity and plasticity in mining constructions, Rock mass investigation techniques, Progress in the use of explosives in the execution of underground constructions, Geotechnical risks in mining constructions, Stability of underground constructions and support design, Stability of underground constructions and support design Computer aided design with applications in underground constructions, Design of mining constructions, Design of special underground constructions, Management of mining construction projects and their economic evaluation, Monitoring the reliability of mining constructions.
