Key Summary
MSc in Environmental Engineering
The program aims to train environmental engineers with up-to-date knowledge in science, ecology, technology, economics, and management who can identify and assess existing or potential environmental hazards, prevent or reduce environmental damage, and manage environmental protection and damage control projects.
Students learn how to mitigate and eliminate environmental problems, utilize natural resources responsibly, and develop and operate cleaner technologies. They gain the ability to neutralize hazardous waste and address environmental challenges through knowledge of nature and land conservation, regional policy, and environmental management.
The program equips students with the skills to plan, organize, and control environmental projects and to participate creatively in engineering work. Emphasis is placed on identifying industrial and production processes that generate waste and emissions, and on proposing effective control and prevention measures to reduce or eliminate pollution and undesirable by-products. Students study a wide range of technologies, including emissions control, water treatment, solid waste management, recycling, and energy utilization.
Environmental Engineering at the University of Pannonia requires and develops a broad range of technical, analytical, and managerial competencies, including expertise in environmental technologies, project design, and relevant management practices.
- Visegrad Fund Scholarship
- There are available success awards in relation to our academic research groups
- The students can join faculty projects through which they can receive scholarships related to research tasks.
