About: The Master in Electronics at The University of Oulu builds on a national Electronics and Communications Engineering foundation. This two-year international programme focuses on electronics components, measurement technologies and applications across ICT, embedded systems, signal processing and communications. You’ll study design, testing and measurement methods and apply multidisciplinary research tied to wellbeing and northern innovation. The course links to industry and research in hardware, sensors and instrumentation.
Career Outcomes: Graduates move into engineering, R&D, project roles. Roles include design, system integration, testing and managerial posts. Possible job titles: Electronics Designer, System Designer, Testing Engineer, Project Manager, Specialist, Research Scientist.

A new international degree program that strongly leans on a long-standing national degree program in Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE). The Master’s Degree Program in Electronics is a two-year program concentrating with a wide spectrum on the development of the electronics components, measurement technologies, and applications for various areas in ICT technology.

The two-year program has three specialization options:
- Electronics Design
- Electronics Materials and Components
- Photonics and Measurement Technology
Electronics Design focuses on analog and digital circuits and systems design, with the main emphasis on design and verification of integrated circuits.
Electronic Materials and Components focuses on materials, processes, and structures that are used to develop electronic devices and components. The devices and components are passive and active components, sensors, actuators, RF-devices, and circuit packages.
Photonics and Measurement Technology focuses on the design of measurement systems and developing printed electronics. Spearheads of the measurement application fields are biomedical measurements, photonics, and printed electronics.
