This career-focused degree will give you the skills needed to help address the global challenges impacting the health and wellbeing of our communities.

Through classroom and hands-on learning, you’ll gain expertise in topics such as health services, health policy, social health, hauora Māori, community health and wellbeing, disability, and population health, and learn how to develop innovative and proactive approaches to challenging and complex health needs.

You can choose to specialise in four different areas.

• Community Health Care: Work alongside people living in the community to support their health and wellbeing.
• Māori Health: Connecting with whānau aspirations for hauora.
• Pacific and Global Health: Serving communities, creating solutions, impacting change.
• Public Health: Make a difference through collective action for a healthier world and Aotearoa.
