Short description of the university program

The study program “Kinesiology and Special Motility” has the task to form specialists in the prevention and rehabilitation of functional sequelae following various pathologies, as well as in other areas of human motion. After attending the bachelor study cycle, the students should be able to: prove good theoretical knowledge in the domain; prove clinical competence in assessment, physical treatment planning, and its implementation; identify the functional assessment methods specific to various pathologies; integrate the basic and specialized scientific knowledge so as to be able to modify the treatment strategy which reflects the purpose of practicing physical therapy; integrate the basic research principles into the critical analysis of concepts and results obtained by others and by themselves; acknowledge the individual’s rights and dignity in planning and administrating the rehabilitation programs; competently activate in any health institution; prove the basic training required in practicing their profession so as to be able to manage any challenges and to further on learning from practical examples.
