Key Summary
Introduction
The Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program is for students who want to become a registered nurse. Through rigorous classes, practice in our simulation labs, and intensive clinical experiences, you'll be prepared to be a nurse generalist with the knowledge and skills to practice in acute and community settings.
Upon graduation, you will be eligible to take the national licensure exam (NCLEX-RN) required for practice as a professional registered nurse.
Two Tracks Offered
Traditional Track
The Traditional Track is designed for students who have not yet earned a bachelor’s degree.
Accelerated Track
The Accelerated Track is designed for students who have already earned a bachelor’s or master’s degree in an area other than nursing.
Accelerated track is available only for those who have a baccalaureate or master’s degree from a college or university with a minimum GPA of 3.00

Admissions
Scholarships and Funding
International Scholarship recipients get a discounted tuition of up to $3500 per semester ($7000 annually).
They just apply after getting accepted. It's a short application (Assessment where they can be rewarded for showing some kind of leadership skills in the past).
Curriculum
The Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program curricula were developed based on the 2021 AACN Essentials for Bachelor’s Education in Nursing, National League for Nursing (NLN) competencies, and Quality and Safety Education for Nurses (QSEN) competencies. Essential to nursing and teaching practices for all programs is a strong ethical foundation.
This foundation is supported by the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics, UNG mission and values, and the UNG Academic Integrity Principles and Policies. The BSN-prepared graduate will be a lifelong learner who will be able to apply the ANA Code of Ethics to their practice, be culturally sensitive in all their activities, and incorporate competencies expected of their role performance.
