Introduction
Soar to new heights with an aviation degree from UNK, one of the most affordable collegiate aviation programs in the country. The program includes a core grouping of aviation, technical, and business courses, as well as an emphasis area: Management for those interested in careers on the ground.
In the Management emphasis, you'll be equipped with all the skills necessary to excel as a manager in the aviation industry. Graduates have found themselves working as air traffic controllers, airport managers, and aviation insurance representatives.
UNK Aviation faculty bring decades of experience to the classroom, having worked in over 120 countries and flown more than 30,000 hours in over 50 aircraft types. The program also has a partnership with Nebraska Flight School, giving students access to over 90 aircraft at Kearney Regional Airport, just 10 minutes from campus.
