Key Summary
The Course in Brief
The Master's course aims to train teachers of Italian as a second language who are prepared to respond with the most appropriate means to the linguistic needs of different types of public: immigrant minors and adults; asylum seekers, refugees and vulnerable migrants; adults with limited literacy; Italian communities spread across different continents and still eager to maintain a lively relationship with the Italian language and culture; citizens of Europe and the world eager to access Italian culture and art, or encouraged to move between different countries for reasons of study (students of European exchange programs) or work.
Teaching will be carried out on the TEAMS platform and will include both synchronous activities (lessons and workshops) and asynchronous activities (chat, homework, individual study).
The guided learning and self-learning modules monitored online will benefit from the support of online tutors, equipped with specific theoretical and methodological preparation in the field of Italian L2, who will guide the students in accessing the teaching materials on the platform, in participating in the discussion forums and in respecting the calendar of tests scheduled at the end of each module.
Attendance is mandatory, with a maximum number of absences not exceeding 20% of the hours scheduled for synchronous online activities.
