Since the establishment of the Specialization - Dental Technique - in the second year on the 2nd semester, the Total Prosthesis Technology is taught. The course is taught by the Head of Works Dr. Ștefârță Alexandru.

The objectives of the discipline. Total Prosthesis Technology is addressed to second year students of the Faculty of Dentistry, Study Program - Dental Technique. The analytical program correlates notions of the disciplines of: Morphology of teeth and dental arches, Laboratory materials, Chemistry of materials, Pathophysiology, Occlusology, Dental prosthetics, Aesthetics, Oro-maxillo-facial surgery, Implantology, Oral pathology, Oral rehabilitation.

The general objectives aim at acquiring by students the theoretical and practical notions of restoring the morphology and functions of dental arches through mobile prosthetic works.

Specific objectives. The aim is to train students in the biomechanics of mobile prostheses, to carry out the laboratory phases closely related to the activity of the dentist, to perform the technical phases on didactic models in such a way that all theoretical notions are closely related to practice.
