The University of Macerata (UniMC) was founded in 1290 and is one of the oldest universities in Europe. Over the years thousands of UniMc graduates have become distinguished professionals, entrepreneurs, leading public figures, educators, researchers: without any doubt, a bit of Italian, European and international history has been built by the alumni of UniMC.

The University of Macerata is a member ofย ERUA (European Reform University Alliance), aย transnational European Universityย group supported by the European Commission that brings together universities located inย eight countriesย (Bulgaria, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Lithuania, Poland, Spain) specialising, like Macerata, in the social sciences and the humanities. ERUA aims to lead the way towardsย the universities of the future, promoting European values and identity, and revolutionising the quality of European higher education through a ground-breaking cooperation model.
