    About : The BA Hons in African Studies explores the diverse cultures, societies, and histories of Africa. Students delve into contemporary issues affecting the continent, engaging with both theoretical frameworks and practical applications. The program often includes fieldwork and cultural exchanges that enhance learning experiences. Coursework may involve literature, history, politics, and economics, giving a holistic view of African Studies.
    Career Outcomes : Graduates of this program can pursue a range of careers, including positions in international development, human rights advocacy, and government services. Other possibilities include roles in education, non-profit organizations, and cultural institutions, where they can apply their knowledge of Africa’s multifaceted societies and histories.

This is an interdisciplinary program consisting of five modules of which two are compulsory. The electives may include any honors modules in the faculty, with permission of the relevant department, in addition to the ones listed below.
