You will receive training in behavioural analysis to reflect the labour needs of companies, consumer organisations, public institutions and research departments, as well as research groups at specific centres such as universities.
You will also be able to take advantage of the University of Jaén's unique cross-disciplinary training programme and the range of activities offered in connection with this master’s programme to improve your personal development and professional prospects.
What is an interuniversity master’s degree? An interuniversity master’s degree is a programme delivered by lecturers from more than one university. In this case, the two universities involved in the programme are the University of Jaén and the University of Granada. Students attending the programme in person will be most affected, as they will need to attend classes at both institutions. Most classes will be held at the University of Granada. Of the compulsory and optional subjects (modules 1, 2 and 3), 10 will be taught at the University of Granada and two at the University of Jaén. Module 4 (Internships and Complementary Activities) may be taken at either university and the Master's Thesis at the university at which students are enrolled.
To take full advantage of the opportunities offered by the Interuniversity Master’s Degree in Marketing and Consumer Behaviour, the ideal applicant is someone with an interest in the business world and consumer behaviour, with strong communication skills, ability to work in a team and good reading skills in English.
The student profile is varied in terms of prior qualifications and country of origin. In past editions of the programme, we have welcomed students with qualifications in Marketing and Market Research, Business Administration and Management, Economics, Psychology, Statistics, Sociology and Political Science, Advertising and Public Relations, Audiovisual Communication, Tourism and Journalism.
Our students come from across Spain and a whole range of other countries in Europe (e.g. Italy, France and Germany), Latin America (e.g. Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica and Ecuador), North America (United States) and Asia (China).
This master’s programme is especially relevant for students with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and Market Research, Sociology and Political Science, Advertising and Public Relations, Audiovisual Communication, Tourism or Journalism.
