Introduction
Sustainability science does not stop with three or four bottom lines–it drives us to be holistic and adaptive. Maui’s beautiful ocean boundaries frame and provoke our adaptability to community issues and global challenges in a unique island setting. In the Sustainable Science Management (SSM) program, we study advanced practices such as systems approaches and offer applied experience to equip our students with knowledge, skills, and leadership for the future. The Bachelor of Applied Science in Sustainable Science Management degree (120 credits) may be completed in 4 years.
