How do you build an organisation geared to innovation? How and with whom do you collaborate to bring new innovations to the market? And how, in a globalized world, do you protect your innovation, to make sure that you profit from it?

The MSc Business Administration - Strategic Innovation Management (MSc BA SIM) deals with these challenges. It considers the whole strategic process of managing innovations within companies and between companies. The Program is structured around the following four topics: (1) where does innovation come from; (2) how can a firm organise its activities for innovation; (3) how and with whom should a firm cooperate to maximise innovation; and (4) how can firms capture value from innovation? In doing so, the aim of this Program is to teach students how to manage a firm's innovation activities and to help turn ideas into profitable new processes, products, services and business models.

The MSc BA SIM is a strongly research-oriented Program since all our courses are designed and taught by a small group of top academic researchers. By introducing students to state-of-the-art academic research, the Program aims to give students the tools to properly understand, evaluate and solve real-life cases, and conduct their own research.
