Key Summary
About: The LHD Track is a two-year MSc in Clinical and Psychosocial Epidemiology at The University of Groningen. It teaches life-course epidemiology, longitudinal analysis and advanced analytical methods to study mental and physical health trajectories. You’ll work with clinicians and (para)medics, access long-term datasets and investigate risk, resilience and socio-environmental determinants of chronic disease.
Career Outcomes: Graduates can work as health researchers, epidemiologists, public-health analysts, policy advisors or clinical research coordinators in academia, hospitals, government, NGOs or industry. You’ll gain skills in study design, longitudinal data analysis, statistical modeling and interdisciplinary collaboration for research, evaluation and health-policy work and practice.

LHD is one of the two specialized tracks from the MSc Clinical and Psychosocial Epidemiology (MSc CPE). It delves into the many factors influencing an individual's mental as well as physical health and explores how it evolves over time.
