BSc Global Responsibility & Leadership
This hands-on and future-oriented bachelor is inspired by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, and rooted in the Liberal Arts and Sciences philosophy. As a student at University College Fryslân, you get the opportunity to foster your personal development in a small-scale, international learning campus.

Curriculum
Year 1
Year 1 consists of courses introducing students to the interdisciplinary educational concept of the programme and the majors. In the second half of Year 1, students will have the opportunity to choose their first elective courses.

Year 2
In Year 2 students follow several mandatory courses, but mostely choose elective courses from the free majors of their choice ('Politics, Philosophy and Economics', 'Ecology, Energy and Climate' and 'Psychology and Global Health'). In the second part of Year 2, students conduct a research internship (Living Lab) with one of our regional or (inter)national partners.

Year 3
In the first semester of Year 3, students will choose to go for an exchange semster abroad, do a minor at another Dutch university or participate in an internship. The other half of Year 3 consits of participating in major courses and, finally, completeing the bachelor by doing the final thesis project.
