The University of Florence is proud to introduce the new Bachelor’s degree in Geological Hazards and Environmental Sustainability. Taught entirely in English, this innovative three-year program is designed for students eager to understand the Earth’s most powerful phenomena—from volcanic eruptions and earthquakes to landslides and floods.
Our curriculum combines a solid scientific and geologic foundation with a focus on environmental sustainability and the responsible management of natural resources. You won't just stay in the classroom; our blended learning approach balances remote theory with vital hands-on experience through extensive field surveys and advanced laboratory work. Students will develop advanced technical skills in data interpretation and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to address global challenges related to natural resource management and territorial protection and will gain the specialized skills needed to protect our territory and build a resilient future.
