Key Summary
The graduate study in Restoration and Conservation (wood, paper, textile, metal, and ceramics) lasts two years, i.e. four semesters (120 ECTS credits). Upon completion of the graduate study, students acquire the academic degree of Master in Conservation and Restoration (wood, paper, textile, metal, ceramics).
Upon successful completion of this study, students are qualified for employment in state administration, in county and/ or town offices in charge of culture and monument protection, in museums, galleries, restoration and conservation workshops or archives, or they can start their own business. This study is the only one of its kind in Croatia, and it is fully in line with the Bologna Declaration. The framework of this program implies the day to day cooperation of teachers and students, the mobility of both teachers and students during the course and the possibility for the students to enroll in any course of a similar profile and level (expressed in ECTS credits) in universities of the European Union that offer compatible studies.
