The University of Denver offers an online Master’s in School Counseling program through Morgridge College of Education Online. In this hands-on program designed to adhere to the standards set by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP)1, you will gain the skills to serve P-12 students in private, public and charter school settings.

As a student, you will learn fundamental counseling practices, including individual counseling as well as how to harness data to implement schoolwide counseling initiatives. You will meet faculty and peers in live, online classes, complete interactive coursework and conduct mock counseling sessions. You will also have the opportunity to gain valuable experience through in-person practicum and internship experiences at schools near your community.

1The 72-credit Master of Arts in School Counseling program from the Morgridge College of Education is designed to adhere to the standards set by CACREP. Only CACREP has the authority to determine which programs do and do not meet their standards. The program intends to submit an application for CACREP accreditation in the fall 2020.
