University of Cincinnati

The University of Cincinnati (UC), established in 1819, is a public research university located in Cincinnati, Ohio. It originated from the founding of Cincinnati College and the Medical College of Ohio. In 1870, the City of Cincinnati formally established the University of Cincinnati, which later absorbed these earlier institutions. UC is renowned for pioneering the world's first cooperative education (co-op) program in 1906 through its College of Engineering, integrating academic study with professional experience. Today, UC serves over 53,000 students across multiple campuses and offers a comprehensive range of academic programs.

Academically, UC provides more than 400 degree programs and over 200 certificates across various disciplines.
