Introduction

Courses offered as part of the Bachelor's Degree Program in Political Science, specialization in Political Science in French (SPF) are taught entirely in French.

A long-time central pillar of the Faculty, the French-speaking sector, which received definitive accreditation from the Romanian authorities of higher education in 1997, has been operating continuously since 1991 and has had a decisive impact on the recruitment policy of the university. institution. The main objective of the French-language stream is the training of students in the field of political science. The language of all courses is French and the university program is very close to the courses of the Institutes of Political Studies or the Faculty of Political Sciences of the French-speaking world. The francophone sector thus contributes to the strengthening of research in the political and social sciences and maintains the Romanian field in the regional and international circuit. Currently, the Faculty's academic program follows the 3-year Bologna system for a bachelor's degree in political science, 2 years for master's programs and 3 years for doctoral studies.

The main objective of this program is to provide students with European-level training in the field of political science

The courses introduce students to various subject areas (political philosophy, history and history of political ideas, international relations, sociology, anthropology and political economy) essential to the understanding and analysis of social and political phenomena.

In addition to the compulsory basic concepts, several courses develop analyzes of French political and social life.

The courses are taught entirely in French and the study plan follows the structure of the political science courses of international universities, particularly French ones.

Long a central pillar of the French-language stream, the French-language Political Science Licentiate program received definitive accreditation in 1997.

Training of generalist type, it allows to acquire a knowledge of the political mechanisms useful to any citizen, to build up intellectual references and to appropriate tools of analysis valuable in the social life as in the professional life.

Students acquire fundamental and specific knowledge that allows them to enter the labor market but also to continue their training with master programs in the field of political science and social sciences.
